Community

Although there is a range of public spaces within the Watton and the surrounding villages, there is currently no purpose-built space to meet the needs of the Wayland community. Wayland House will provide a one-stop shop for the Wayland community.

The Wayland Partnership
The Wayland Partnership, who run and manage Wayland House, act in an advisory role, signposting members of the community to people that can help them, or indeed directly helping individuals with local information on subjects as diverse as bus timetables to local tourism and accommodation providers. Local groups are supported too, for example through advice on accessing funding or undertaking promotion etc. In addition the Partnership offers other services such as photocopying, faxing, access to the internet, ticket sales, and promotional literature design. We also have a selection of leaflets and information provided to us by other agencies, which again is in the office. Wayland House allows us to dedicate space to talk with the community, confidentially and in depth and to display further literature and information where people feel comfortable browsing through at their leisure.
